On a snowy Christmas in 2010, a young man, Andy, gave his then girlfriend, Katie, a Kitchenaid mixer that she had been eyeing for quite some time. It became a Christmas tradition for the now husband to give his wife accessories and attachments to go with that same mixer. The mixer saw a lot of use over the years from making batters for birthday cupcakes that the kids took to school to grinding meats and stuffing casings even making pasta and juicing tomatoes for homemade sauce! Then the inevitable happened….. the mixer broke right in the middle of a batch of bread dough. Katie was devastated. This mixer was a part of their story and family. What was she going to do now? She yelled for her handy Andy, of course! Andy came to the rescue as he always has and tore apart the old workhorse of their kitchen. He found the problem right away, asked Katie to order the parts that he needed, and fixed the mixer to better than new!
